Rights that grant direct control over movable or immovable property and that can be asserted against everyone.
Limited real rights are real rights that grant a person limited powers over property. Limited real rights have a restrictive nature regarding ownership. They are divided into three groups according to the powers they grant over property.
a. Easement Rights
These are rights that grant the right holder some or all of the owner's rights regarding the use and enjoyment of the property, or prohibit the owner from exercising some of the rights inherent in the property for the benefit of the right holder.
b. Pledge Rights
These are rights that secure a claimant's debt and authorize them to settle the debt from the proceeds of selling the pledged property if the debt remains unpaid.
c. Real Estate Encumbrance
A real estate encumbrance is an obligation imposed on a property owner to give or do something for another person in exchange for that property.
