The Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 defines a consumer transaction as any contract or legal transaction established between consumers and natural or legal persons acting for commercial or professional purposes—including public legal entities—in goods or services markets, or acting on their behalf or for their account, such as contracts for works, transportation, brokerage, insurance, agency, banking, and similar contracts.
