Consumer rights and sellers' obligations are primarily governed by Law No. 6502. Article 11 of the law, titled "Optional Rights," lists the optional rights that the consumer can exercise in case of a defective product.   2. Keeping the purchased item and requesting a discount from the purchase price proportional to the defect.,<\/li>
